Complimentary maintenance

Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance adds normal-interval oil and filter changes, tire rotations and multi-point inspections for 3 years or 36,000 miles on new 2020 through 2025 model year Hyundai vehicles (electric vehicles skip the oil changes). For 2025 models it is a set of four services. It is for the original owner, at a Hyundai dealer, and does not cover severe-schedule service or wear items. • Roadside assistance: call the number in your warranty handbook with the VIN, mileage and location.
  • Buying used? Check the in-service date. The 10-year powertrain term applies to the original owner only.
  • Certified pre-owned Hyundai models carry their own coverage on top of what remains. See certified inventory.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the Hyundai powertrain warranty?

10 years or 100,000 miles for the original owner. Second and later owners have powertrain coverage through the 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty.

Does the Hyundai warranty transfer?

Partly. The 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle warranty, the anti-perforation warranty, roadside assistance and the hybrid/EV battery warranty carry over; the 10-year powertrain term does not.

What does the 5-year/60,000-mile warranty cover?

Repair or replacement of any component Hyundai installed that is defective in material or workmanship, with shorter terms for paint, the 12-volt battery, adjustments and wear items.

Is maintenance included with a new Hyundai?

Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance covers normal-interval oil changes, tire rotations and inspections for 3 years or 36,000 miles on 2020 through 2025 model year vehicles. Ask us about the model year you are considering.

How long is the Hyundai EV battery warranty?

10 years or 100,000 miles, for hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric models, with capacity guaranteed above 70 percent of original.
