2026 Palisade driver setup: profile, key and seat memory
2026 U.S. gasoline Palisade Calligraphy and XRT PRO. Phone-profile steps require a registered, supported smartphone Digital Key; seat-memory steps apply to the equipped Calligraphy.
For two drivers sharing a 2026 gas Palisade, Calligraphy has a useful advantage over XRT PRO: both include Digital Key 2 Premium, but Calligraphy also has memory for the driver’s seat and exterior mirrors. Treat phone-profile linking and the numbered memory buttons as separate setup tasks. A phone-key feature alone does not give XRT PRO seat memory.

Equipment choice
Calligraphy has Digital Key and driver-seat IMS. XRT PRO has Digital Key but no driver-seat IMS.
Phone-profile setup
Link a registered, supported smartphone key. One phone cannot link to both driver profiles.
Calligraphy memory check
With the start button ON and gear in P, hold 1 or 2 to save; press the chosen button to recall.
Choose the equipment before planning the handover
Hyundai lists Digital Key 2 Premium as standard on both Calligraphy and XRT PRO. The Integrated Memory System (IMS) for the driver’s seat and exterior mirrors is standard on Calligraphy and unavailable on XRT PRO. If two drivers want to recall their saved seat and mirror positions, Calligraphy is the equipped choice between these two grades.
That difference is worth checking before focusing on phone setup. A successful phone-profile link does not establish that a vehicle has the physical memory feature. Start by choosing the equipment you want, then set up each function on the actual vehicle.
| Grade | Digital Key 2 Premium | Driver seat / mirror IMS |
|---|---|---|
| Calligraphy | Standard | Standard |
| XRT PRO | Standard | Not available |
Link a registered phone key to a profile
Start with phone eligibility. The manual requires a smartphone that supports Digital Key and calls for the Bluelink app plus a Hyundai account and service for phone-key setup. A phone key must already be registered to this vehicle before a profile link works. Verify support for your own device before building the shared-driver routine around it.
The profile-link menu is Setup > User Profile > Driver 1 > Link Digital Key (Smartphone). Select the displayed key group and follow the screen’s instructions. Hyundai groups smartphone keys by the account used on the phone: an unchanged login stays in the same group.
A single smartphone cannot be linked to both Driver 1 and Driver 2. The more recently linked profile takes over and the previous link is canceled. A card key cannot be linked to a profile. If the linked phone key is deleted, the manual requires registering it again and linking the profile again.
On Calligraphy, save and recall the driving position
On the equipped Calligraphy, IMS stores the driver’s seat and side-view mirror positions. To save a position, set the Engine Start/Stop button to ON and select P (Park). Adjust the seat and mirrors, then press and hold memory button 1 or 2. A beep and a saved-settings message confirm storage.
To recall a position, keep the start button ON and the gear in P, then press the chosen memory button. The seat and mirrors move to the stored positions, with a beep and an applied-settings message. Adjusting the seat or mirrors manually during recall stops the movement. Never operate IMS while the vehicle is moving. If the battery is disconnected, its memory settings are erased.
For a shared-driver Calligraphy handover, have each driver check the active screen profile, then separately save and recall a numbered memory position while parked. The distinction between holding a button to save and pressing it to recall is worth practicing before the daily routine. Check the resulting seat and mirror positions before driving; do not infer that selecting a phone profile will automatically perform the memory-button task.
Build the handover around the driver, phone and grade
Bring the phones that will actually be used and check their eligibility before relying on a phone-linked routine. Assign the profile links deliberately: repeatedly linking the same phone to a different driver replaces its earlier link. If you delete a linked phone key, include registration and profile linking in the setup again.
For Calligraphy, add the parked save-and-recall exercise for both drivers. For XRT PRO, leave numbered IMS recall out of the plan because this grade does not include that feature. Use your own driving-position preferences to decide how much the equipment difference matters.
Inventory results include other trims. Confirm Calligraphy or XRT PRO equipment on the actual vehicle and check the setup with the phones and drivers who will use it.
