All the cars leave the manufacturer's shop with the all-season tires. These tires are the most common since they're a relatively good at handling different conditions from season to season. They're also easier on the fuel.

Does this mean that they are the best? Not exactly.

All-season tires have been designed in such a way that they combine features from the summer tires and the winter tires. However, in doing so, they compromise on some vital details. Their grip can sometimes be too extreme for summer driving, making them perform more poorly than a car equipped with season-specific tires. They also aren't built to handle extreme snow and, as such, lag behind dedicated winter tires.

All-season tires are okay to drive with after buying the car. If you're looking for the best performance your car can give, however, you should invest in season specific tires. For more information or to purchase tires, contact the tire center at Elgin Hyundai in Elgin, IL.
