In a press release from earlier today, Hyundai proudly announced that the experts at Parents magazine and Edmunds.com recently named the 2016 Tucson to the 2016 list of 10 Best Family Cars. Editors of both outlets praised Tucson for its spacious interior, automatic swing-up tailgate, kid-friendly features, and more.
“We understand parents look for vehicles that provide the top safety for their families and we took that seriously with the redesigned Tucson,” said Mike O’Brien, vice president, corporate and product planning, Hyundai Motor America. “This recognition from Parents Magazine and Edmunds.com shows we are committed to providing better vehicles for our owners – through better safety, quality and design features that set us apart.”
A particular point of pride for the Tucson is its suite of advanced available safety features which helped it earn a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. These include Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Change Assist, Backup Warning Sensors and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB).
