In December, Hyundai announced that it was rebadging its Equus and Genesis sedans as the G90 and G80 respectively, and that they would arrive in the United States under a new name. This was the kickoff of the Genesis luxury brand, as it were, and its Equus-replacing flagship was recently unveiled in Detroit.

The G90 is large, in charge, and the pinnacle of the South Korean take on luxury. With a larger wheel base and all manner of technology for a more lavish and comfortable ride, we think it'll be a hit with drivers looking for executive class luxury. Furthermore, Hyundai advises us that the new G90 is "all-but automomous," but we'll get more information on that ahead of its actual dealership launch.

For more information, watch the unveiling below.
