A crossover is already a "hybrid". It's an elegant mix of SUV and car that has become one of the most popular and fastest growing style segments in the automotive industry. Still, Hyundai found a way to make it even more of a hybrid with the addition of an extended-able truck bed, which they unveiled to the world at the North American International Auto Show.
This isn't a production model (yet), but Hyundai clearly loved developing this "mini-truck" to appeal to the urban driver who needs to haul a little bit of equipment but doesn't need midsize, gas-guzzling truck.
We can certainly see the potential and we like the roof rack capabilities for those who love the outdoors.
