Riding a hot streak that began back in June, Hyundai Motor America has reported yet another best ever month. With sales of 60,007 vehicles delivered, the company saw a 12 percent increase over November 2014.
Derrick Hatami, vice president of national sales for Hyundai Motor America, summarized the announcement: “With the combination of a strong economy, lower gas prices and improving crossover inventory, Hyundai experienced a record November. In addition to our Tucson nearly doubling its sales over November 2014, a number of our products experienced double digit sales gains.”
Leading the charge was the redesigned 2016 Tucson. Its 6,906 units sold is a 90 percent improvement over November 2014. The stylish crossover has enjoyed lots of critical praise of the past couple months, including being named "International Family Car of the Year" by Road & Travel Magazine.
